Dr Alok Vashishtha is an eminent HIV specialist who is an alumnus of Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, with Fellowship in HIV Medicine from University of South Florida, Tampa, USA and has done advance course in HIV management from John Hopkins University, USA. He has been involved in HIV care, research and training for last 20 years. His Centre has one of the most comprehensive care and treatment programme conforming to best International standards. He has pioneered many concepts of HIV/AIDS care in India.

Dr Alok is visiting faculty and a trainer for Doctors and medical students at leading centres of HIV/AIDS all over the world. He has been faculty speaker at various conferences in India and abroad. He has written a book on Management of Pregnancy in HIV infected women and many chapters on HIV in various text books. Dr Alok has also received various prestigious awards by various organisations for his work and service in field of HIV/AIDS
